My one major criticism of this course is that other than about 4 holes, it is a fabulous layout and could be considered one of the best in Northern California, but there are indeed 4 holes that are terrible and this detracts significantly from one's overall evaluation ! You can't have a 'great' course and have 4 bad holes. The green on no. 1 is ridiculous, the 4th hole 5 par is poorly designed with a iron layup on the tee, the green on 8 is too small, and the 10th hole has multiple design flaws, which is too bad as the hole has a spectacular drive off the tee. Some of the other holes, however, are very special. The course overall is very tough, and a great challenge for the better golfer. From the tips I predict one will stray far from one's handicap !

Beautiful course! I enjoyed every hole. Didn't wait long and wasn't pushed at all.

Course is a Sierra Foothill tract. As such, carts are really needed. Location is absolutely beautiful.
